I LOVE SILLY CHRISTMAS SWEATER PATTERNS SO DON’T START WITH ME. oMG you guys I feel like I’ve been run over. I have a few Friday Finds posts started but for a variety of reasons haven’t quite finished them. Here’s one that I’ve been planning on posting today for a while now, so I’m carving out some time to do it!
If you feel like I missed some great ones, please leave them in the comments below. Or if this is not enough, check out more holiday-themed posts.
Silly Christmas Sweater Patterns to Knit
Sandes Garn, Reinsdyrgenser (Ravelry link; NOK 20)
I NEED THIS SWEATER. It’s only available in Norwegian and they don’t ship pattern booklets outside of Norway and apparently have no digital presence do I know anyone in Norway?!
Sandi Prosser, Lace Yoke Pullover (Ravelry link; $6)
I’ve wanted to make this one for ages. Yes, it’s over the top, but it’s so CUTE. Classic and technically kind of timeless but also uniquely Christmasy in some way I can’t quite put my finger on.
Susan Crawford, The Perfect Christmas Jumper (Ravelry link; £5)
This has also been in my queue forever. It’s right there in the name—Perfect Christmas Jumper. There is no lie!
Andi Satterlund, Julgran ($8.25)
Not so much a silly Christmas sweater pattern but definitely a delightful one. I’m a big fan of Andi’s contemporary take on classic Christmas sweaters—baubles optional!
Wendy Yarns, Christmas Pudding Sweater (Ravelry link; various sources available with different prices)
This is perhaps my favorite one of the bunch. I just love how ridiculous this is. I think that’s why I love the idea of silly Christmas sweater patterns—they’re supposed to be ridiculous and fun and lighthearted and there’s nothing wrong with that.
