This is going to be a serious drive-by of a post, because my brain is fried, but my socks for March = DONE.
I love these socks, but I actually would not recommend them for everyone. The lace pattern isn’t terribly stretchy, so if you have high arches, getting them to fit over your heel but stay up on your legs could be an issue. I don’t have high arches, and I knit the pattern as written, and getting them over my heels is a frightening proposition every time. I’m terrified that the lace is going to snap and I’m going to wind up with holes on the backs of the legs. But once I do get them over the heels, they fit my legs perfectly.
The yarn is incredibly soft and really quite on the warm side, so I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to wear them before they make my feet too hot.
So yay! Three down, nine more to go.
